MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Flat Broke Blues Band! As we look back on 2006, it is safe to say it has been an unprecedented year for the band.

We started the year off by opening a special show for the one and only Magic Slim and the Teardrops, then headed to Detroit to play for Super Bowl XL. Soon we were hanging out with Sean Costello and his band at the Tawas Bay Blues Fest (also known as the great Blues Flood of 2006).

We spent the fall rubbing shoulders with several bluesers including Ana Popovic, Anthony Gomes, Alberta Adams and many more.

Then we wrapped up the year by opening a show for Billy Branch & the Sons of Blues and recording our first-ever Christmas tunes.

To be honest, we couldn't have had a year like we had without fans like you. We thank you for the support and kind words and we look forward to 2007!
